Description | Gonzales ISD Content Creators Internship
The Gonzales Independent School District (GISD) is offering an exciting opportunity for high school Juniors and Seniors to develop skills in journalism, communications, photography, podcasting, graphic design, video production, marketing, website management, and public relations.
Primary Purpose: As a Content Creator Intern, you will work alongside the district's Communications Office under the leadership of Chief Communications Officer Veronica Johannsen and Digital Specialist Kimberly San Juan. The internship provides hands-on experience in content creation and media management for the school district.
Qualifications:

Must be a Gonzales High School Junior or Senior in good academic standing

Interest in one or more of the following: journalism, communications, photography, podcasting, graphic design, video production, marketing, website management, public relations

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Creative mindset and willingness to learn
Responsibilities:

Assist with creating engaging content for GISD's social media, website, and other communication platforms

Capture and edit photos and videos at school events

Contribute to writing blog posts, news articles, and press releases

Support the planning and production of podcasts, newscasts and video projects

Collaborate with the Communications Office to develop marketing materials and campaigns

Help maintain and update the district website as needed
